All our fully Registered Osteopaths have completed a four or five year full- time degree programme in Osteopathy. The degree comprises of extensive clinical, practical and theoretical components. All Kelly Daly Osteopaths are also trained in a specialised form of Osteopathy called ‘Cranial Osteopathy’; a highly gentle and subtle form of treatment which gently allows us to rebalance tissues and any strains through the nervous system. We also retrain regularly at work and are proactive about updating our skills.
To ensure that we provide the highest standards of treatment to all our patients all of the Osteopaths are registered with the Osteopathic Council of Ireland. This is a professional body that recognises and regulates practitioners that are fully qualified and insured in this country.
All Osteopaths on the register must have a recognised degree, complete an annual programme of continued professional development, be fully insured, and maintain the highest standards of ethics and practice for the benefit of our patients and the profession.
The registering body is designed to provide protection for the patient so that they may have an official platform and mode of redress in the eventuality of complaint against a practitioner. In addition all treatments that are performed by a Registered Osteopath may be discounted on most health insurance schemes. |
